(Side Post: While I cannot actually "diss" the Twilight series because I have not 1) read any of the books or 2) seen any of the movies. I can say that I am turned off to it because 1) it's moral underpinnings preach abstinence, 2) it is so overwhelmingly everywhere, 3) it has turned normal people into crazies. I am utterly shocked that some of my favorite artists (i.e. Death Cab For Cutie, Thom FUCKING Yorke, Lykke Li, The Killers*, Bon Iver, Sea Wolf, Grizzly Bear**) are a part of the soundtrack. )

* not actually shocked, but I do enjoy listening to them
** REALLY REALLY REALLY shocked....floored...want to cry.
